How long have you been working as a psychologist?⌛
I opened my private practice in 2023. Prior to that, I was engaged in another activity.
What were you doing before? 🧐
I worked as a European project manager in the research and innovation sector. While I found it fulfilling and learned a great deal, I felt called to pursue a different path.
Did you quit your job to pursue psychology studies?
Not exactly. I pursued my studies at Paris 8 University, which offers a distance learning program. This allowed me to balance my studies with my professional activity.
My career as a psychologist is the result of a six-year academic journey. 📚.
Sounds like a long training!
It took me three years to obtain my Bachelor's degree, then another two years for the Master's. I then added a specialization that I completed in the 🇺🇸.
Why the 🇺🇸?
To allow me to work with english-speaking patients, I completed an additional program in the 🇺🇸. This experience allowed me to enrich my 🇫🇷 education, but also to confirm my choice of specialization.
